Yesterday in class we made a scatterplot with the data found in our class table. We drew a correlation line and found that there was a positive correlation. We made a vocab list and decided that our definitions of states of matter should be strictly scientific. ~CJ

We are learning about characteristic properties of matter such as density. How can we explain this demonstration using the concept of density?
I found a great site to help with unit conversions. Type in the problem and the web site demonstrates how to convert the units. Try checking your homework with this tool.
Remember the steps:
1. Rewrite the original amount with the units.
2. Multiply by a conversion ratio with the unit to discard on the bottom and the desired unit on the top.
3. Cancel the units.
4. Perform the numerical calculations.

Measurement in the Lab
We are continuing to explore metric measurements in the lab and we are collecting many interesting observations...like 50mL+50M=98mL (in the case of the yellow and blue liquids.) Stay tuned for our inferences!
